The Darling Hotel
If the Lyric Theatre in Sydney is one place you plan to spend some time in the coming year, there are many beautiful accommodations to stay at near the complex. One such destination, The Darling, is a beautiful place to stay just steps away from the theatre. Dining options and accommodations create the perfect location to spend time on holiday any time of the year. The Darling hotel is a luxury hotel you need to put on your ‘to stay’ list, and here are just a few reasons why:
If you want a view, The Darling has plenty. Many of the rooms offer a gorgeous view of either the Blue Mountains or Sydney Harbour, and it is still close enough to amenities that you could spend most of your time walking around local shops and restaurants. You might not need to walk far though, because the Star Complex, which features the Lyric Theatre, is also the destination of 20 restaurants, cafes and bars just steps from the hotel. If you plan to catch a performance during the day, check out any number of bars for a nightcap, or dance the night away at a nightclub with spectacular views of the harbour and surrounding area.
Spacious rooms come in a variety of accommodations, ranging from the standard-sized Darling Room to a spacious Penthouse, which can be customized as you wish. Beds come with 100 percent Egyptian cotton linens and goose down comforter for an amazing nights’ sleep. Rain showerheads come in each bathroom, as well as high-definition television, marble bathroom countertops, mini bar, telephones and personal safe.
If you need time to relax, the spa at The Darling hotel has many services to choose from for the ultimate pampering session. Treatments include warm oil massage, hot stone massage, body polish or body wrap treatments and nourishing facial, just to name a few. If you want to have a romantic spa session, couples massage and treatments are available, many of which include a combination of treatments and massages.
Finish off an amazing day by dining at Sokyo, a Japanese fusion restaurant located in the hotel. Whether you love seafood or want a chicken or steak dish, the award-winning chefs at Sokyo have plenty of delicious entrees to try.
Whether you are visiting Sydney on holiday or a local, the Darling Hotel is the perfect place to stay when you want to spend a few days in luxury.
